After 10 days of concentrated fundamental classroom theory, coupled with practical laboratory work, including hands-on experience on a variety of live-fire equipment, you will acquire a solid foundation of knowledge. This training, along with field experience, will help build careers as installation and service technicians that will become an asset to you and your customers.
Bronze Certificate of Training will be awarded to each student who completes the course and passes the examination. The test is based on the NORA OilHeat Technician’s Manual, which is used for Silver Certification.
Requirements: There is some study assignments required to be done by the students in the evening during the course. Therefore, students should consider this in fulfillment of the program.
Our Instructor: Tim has a longstanding history of nearly 30 years in the industry. He teaches from experience, drawing on his many years as an HVAC service-and-installation technician and service manager. He knows the ins and outs of the HVAC systems you’re working on because he’s worked on them himself. It’s this perspective, combined with his years of experience as a National Trainer for Thermo Products, that makes him an exceptional teacher.
